Dine with DeathI sit at one head of an average-sized modern dining table covered with a new elegant cloth and numerous plates holding all that I have to offer, finally presentable after years of being cooked. Knowing that my awaited company prefers the dimness, I have chosen the romantic glow of candles in lieu of electricity-devouring light bulbs to be witness to this much-anticipated night. The clock hands tell me my plans are behind-schedule. I cover my blooming impatience and growing trepidation with closed eyelids and take sips from a delicately-held wine glass, tasting salt, in regular intervals.Dine with Death
